Combined Bum Marketing & Blogging A.K.A Article Blogging is the easiest and cheapest way to make your first dollar and forms a solid foundation for any other direction you decide to go in.
You can start on a shoestring budget, but your own domain, webspace with fantastico installation, a tracking facility and an unlimited, advert free, autoresponder service will be necessary if you really want to make a lot of money in a relatively short period of time. Just do a search on hosting or autoresponders and you will be swamped by the number of companies that will provide you with this service for a fee.
My own preference is to use a combined solution, thereby reducing my payments to a single manageable sum. The company that I use is the Ultimate Marketing Solution. Once you’re setup with your own space you’ll need to install the free open source blogging platform Wordpress. (Unless you are new to the internet you’ll already have heard about Wordpress.) Provided you have followed my advice you’ll be able to do this in a couple of clicks with the Fantastico installation script. If you haven’t then more fool you!
The generic template that comes with Wordpress is boring in the extreme so you’ll need to change this. Luckily this is relatively easy and you can download some stunning FREE themes. (This blog is a free theme.)
Once thats in place a few more downloads to enhance your blogs earning power and traffic boosting capabilities from the FREE Wordpress Plugin Database and you’re ready to talk to the world! A couple of my own favourites in this area include the alink (For affiliate commission), blog and ping, (Maximize your social bookmarketing exposure on auto pilot) and if you haven’t installed an adsense ready theme, the adsense deluxe plugin. (For Adsense income.)
